Getting from there to here

It's been a long time getting from there to here. When I'm not lugging around small humanoid life forms I find relaxation in reading sci-fi, writing and playing the piano. Occasionally I dream of working on projects that involve wood or electronics, but alas, time is my constant enemy.

I've made good and bad choices throughout my life and at present I seem to be going through the worst of times. For me, I find great comfort in knowing that most humans right now are going through some sort of struggle so my own problems don't seem so distant. Fortunately for me, I have 3 beautiful children and a patient, sexy wife to wash away all of the sorrows and pains that this blue marble can sling at me.

If there's one place I wish I could be right now it would have to be in 10-Forward sucking down a Romulan ale, Antarean brandy or Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Who knows where I'm going from here? Being simultaneously good and bad is a lot better than being stagnant and so, whatever happens will happen. Ain't nothing I can do about it. Bring it on and make it so.
