LINKS : I

USE EVERY DAY

I use a lot of tools. These are the tools that I use daily and have been for quite some time. Actually, that's a lie. I've only been using jQuery for about a year now and I can tell you, it's a lot better than prototype, mootools etc... Wait, there's another on this list. Ubuntu is relatively new in my arsenal of schtuff. Prior to Ubuntu, I was almost exclusively a Gentoo fellow. While I still use Gentoo for more appliancey stuff, ubuntu has become my desktop of choice. These tools along with some others are what keep my from seeing my family on a regular basis. Shoot, I could almost call these guys my friends. If only software could drink beer. I suppose that means I have to drink for the mouthless wares. Oh, too bad. PHP

MySQL

Apache

jQuery

NetBeans

Java

Ubuntu

SqlYog

Notepad++

Photoshop

I start the morning speed reading through a few dozen sources of information. The sites I have listed are sites that I find myself visiting consistently and at a frequency that pushes other sites to the "links of less importance" list. There are so many sites that could end up on a links page that it's so hard to choose from. Lately I've been reading a lot of design blogs and fringe news for what reason I haven't firm clue. Perhaps the simplest reason is that I like designing stuff and I adore aliens. Hey now, that's as good a reason as any.

I AM CURRENTLY DOING

Capstone Entertainment

I do a ton of stuff, but these are the things that I've been somewhat active on over the last few months. I have 281,234,992 unfinished projects ranging from cryptography to aquaponics to self replicating CNC machines. While I'm not obsessive compulsive I try to find as much time to enjoy beer. Lately I've been drinking a lot of PBR which reminds me of my youth. PBR is a dirt cheap beer that's gotten a bad reputation of the past several decades. I think it's a great beer.
